Alexeis Menendez-Suarez is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), not a physician psychiatrist. He provides telehealth psychiatric care for adults 18 and older, fully in English or Spanish. Spanish is his first language. Visits are by secure video, and patients must be physically located in Florida.
He can evaluate, diagnose, and provide medication management when clinically appropriate. No diagnosis, prescription, or specific medication is guaranteed. Follow-up stays with him so you are not repeating your history to a new person each month.
Education and clinical background
Alexeis earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and is board-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Before advanced practice nursing, he spent about eight years in critical care after completing two years of medical school in Cuba. That background supports a calm, careful approach to complex histories, medication safety, and patient education.
