What is medication management?

Medication management is ongoing psychiatric care. Your provider reviews symptoms, daily functioning, medical history, current medications, benefits, side effects, and your preferences. The goal is a treatment plan you understand, with follow-up to see how it is working.

SteadyMind Psychiatry offers this care by secure video for adults 18 and older who are physically in Florida during the visit. Both clinicians are board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.

Starting care or continuing an existing treatment

New patients begin with a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation, including patients transferring from another practice. Bring your medication list, doses, pharmacy information, and available prior records. Your provider reviews the current plan before deciding whether to continue or change it.

A prior prescription does not automatically mean the same treatment will continue. No diagnosis, prescription, controlled medication, or specific medication is guaranteed.

What happens at a follow-up?

  • Discuss changes in symptoms, sleep, daily life, and goals.
  • Review how you are taking medication and any side effects or concerns.
  • Consider whether the plan needs to change and whether additional monitoring or coordination with another clinician is needed.
  • Agree on the next follow-up and how to contact the practice between visits.

Care can address adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood and sleep concerns. Read our medication education guide for questions to bring to your visit.

Choose your clinician and payment option

Alexeis Menendez-Suarez, PMHNP-BC offers care in English and Spanish, self-pay, select commercial plans through Headway, and eligible Medicare appointments after plan verification. Rosemarie A. Zoet, PMHNP-BC offers adult care in English with self-pay; her insurance option is coming soon.

The current self-pay evaluation is $119 for 60 minutes, about 25% off the regular $159 price. Follow-ups are $75 for 20 minutes or $100 for 30 minutes. Visit insurance and self-pay information or Medicare information before choosing a booking route.

Your pharmacy and medication availability

SteadyMind is not a pharmacy. Please choose a pharmacy and verify that it can fill your prescription. If medication is prescribed, we send it to the pharmacy you provide. We do not locate medication inventory, and availability is not guaranteed. Some pharmacies have their own telehealth or distance policies, including a 50-mile prescriber limit in rare cases.
