Treatment planning is individual. Education about how anxiety works can itself reduce shame. Therapy is often an important part of care even when medication is considered. Medication may be discussed when symptoms are intense, persistent, or getting in the way of daily life, and when it is clinically appropriate. There is no promised prescription at the first visit, and there is no promised specific medicine.

Telehealth can make it easier to keep appointments around work, school, and caregiving. You still need a private space, a stable connection, and a Florida location during the visit.
